                The video was recorded in the Isola della Cona nature reserve, FVG, Italy.
                On the way to the large Marinetta observation house there are several
                observation slits in the wooden fence.
                From these you can observe the birds up close.
                A small flock of snipes has settled in the very shallow and marshy water.
                They were also looking for food on the ground,
                always poking in with their very long beaks. But some of them
                also took a rest and started preening themselves.
                This is not an easy activity with such a long beak.
                So I recorded the scene and admired the birds for longer.
                At 2:20 in the video the bird bends its beak tip !
